Dr. Fred Aueron and Barbara Aueron bought a four-bedroom home at 68 Sea Farm Road in Bridgehampton from Elizabeth Kogel for $1.85 million.

The 2,991-square-foot house was built in 2006 in Bridgehampton Inland.

Dr. Aueron is a cardiologist and has practiced with The Heart Group P.A. in New Jersey. His clinical areas of interest include complex interventional patients, cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment of coronary and valvular heart disease.

He joined The Heart Group in 1984 and later joined Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston and Bayonne Hospital. From 1989 to 2002, he was director of the invasive cardiovascular laboratory Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where he also was clinical instructor of medicine and cardiology.

He received his M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1977 and completed his internal medicine residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital System in 1980. He completed his fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at the University of Michigan.
