Investment banker, social worker spend $1.4M in Quogue

Steven M. Wagshal and Emily Loft-Wagshal bought a five-bedroom, five-bath home at 38 Old Meetinghouse Road in Quogue from Maurley Miller-Dupre for $1.475 million on Oct. 15.

Dupre bought the property for $950,000 on Aug. 2002. The 6,009-square-foot house was built in 2004 in the neighborhood of North of Montauk.

Wagshal has served as vice president at Goldman Sachs & Co. in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

Loft-Wagshal has been a community outreach coordinator of the Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York.

She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis and received a master's degree in social work from New York University.

The couple was married at the Windows on the World in New York in 2001.

Miller-Dupre is a real estate agent with the Westhampton Beach office of Brown Harris Stevens LLC.

Miller-Dupre also worked at Prudential Douglas Elliman in Quogue

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 24 home sales in Quogue during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1.7 million.
